Farm to Table

Bramblewood is located at Simmons Hickory Farm, a working, family-owned fruit & vegetable farm. The Simmons Family made their home on the property almost years ago.  With more than 50 years of farming experience in southwestern Pennsylvania, it wasn't long after the purchase of the property before the Simmons Family had the farm up and running. They enjoyed years of working on the farm together surrounded by all of nature's beauty on the 160-acre property.

In 2014, after hosting their eldest daughter’s wedding reception at Simmons Hickory Farm, the family decided that they would love to share the beauty and experience of the farm with others.  Hence, Bramblewood was born.  The Simmons family is honored that so many couples choose their farm & home to begin their lives together with nature's beauty as a breathtaking backdrop.

As a venue located on a working fruit and vegetable farm, we are committed to utilizing all that the farm has to offer to enhance your wedding experience.

Farm to Table
Bramblewood is a farm to table venue and as such, we will work with your caterer to incorporate Simmons Hickory Farm fresh produce into the wedding meal. Fruit and vegetable farming has been in our family for over 4 generations.  We are committed to continuing this tradition by providing the finest quality fruits and vegetables to create an exceptionally fresh and unforgettable menu for you and your guests to enjoy. 

Field Grown Flowers
Your wedding will reflect your personal style when you use our field grown cut flowers for all of your floral needs. From table centerpieces to pew decorations and the bridal bouquet, we can customize your designs to be a perfect reflection of your style.
